Cargill’s Grain and Oilseed Supply Chain business is a major importer, exporter and processor of grains and oilseeds in China. The business supplies Chinese customers with oilseeds, oilseeds products (protein meals, vegetable oils) and grains from China and worldwide origins.
In Dongguan, Guangdong and Nantong, Jiangsu, Cargill operates three crushing facilities to produce soybean oil and soybean meal. The Dongguan plants have a total crushing capacity of over 5,000 MT per day. The Nantong plant is one of the largest soybean processing facilities in Asia with a daily capacity of 5,000 MT.
Cargill is a leading provider of Risk Management & Supply China Solutions for its customers in China and throughout the region.
Cargill Grain and Oilseed Supply Chain business is also a leading participant in the export of corn from China. Cargill has been instrumental in developing new markets for Chinese corn in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
In addition to its plant locations, Cargill Grain and Oilseed Supply Chain business has employees in Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul.
