Petroleum
Since Cargill began its petroleum business in China back in 2001, it has become one of the biggest suppliers to the region. In 2005, Cargill total supplied over 3.5 million tons to China, and has set up a steady cooperation with some of the main importers, big ship owners and end users.
In addition to supplying oil to this market, Cargill provides commercial services and information to its buyers to help them understand the oil market and avoid potential risk. Cargill also purchases oil from various Chinese refineries and delivers it around the world.
